Walsh Construction and Kokosing, two premier construction service providers, have teamed to build two significant bridge projects in Cincinnati. For the Western Hills Viaduct Replacement, we are the Walsh Kokosing Joint Venture. For the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project, we are the Walsh Kokosing Design-Build Team, with team members AECOM and Jacobs for design.

Kokosing is one of the largest family-owned contractors in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, with its corporate office located in Westerville, Ohio. Kokosing is a market leader in self-performing transportation and sitework projects ranging from highways, bridges, paving, and mass excavation, including on major local projects, including the recent Brent Spence Bridge repair.
AECOM
AECOM brings an outstanding record of success designing complex bridge and design-build projects, including the recent Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge with Walsh. AECOM is a global leader in transportation, and has been providing ODOT and KYTC with engineering and technical services for almost 70 years, through the firm’s legacy companies.
Jacobs
Jacobs is recognized as a design leader for bridge, interstate, and transportation projects , having led many such projects for ODOT, including the I-670/I-71 Columbus Crossroads Design-Build and the I-480 Valley View Bridge Design-Build. Jacobs also served as the Lead Designer on the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridge Crossing projects.
