Current / Future Contracting Opportunities

Submitting a quote for an open opportunity on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project is easy.

Review the open opportunities page to see scopes of work open for bid and those anticipated in the near future. Scopes will generally be procured on a unit price basis, similar to normal ODOT or KYTC design-bid-build projects, and subcontractors will generally not be responsible for design refinements.

Scopes will be posted to this site a minimum of 20 days prior to the Invitation to Bid (ITB). Firms should submit an Expression of Interest form for each scope in which they are interested using the Expression of Interest link associated with each scope package. Walsh Kokosing is using Autodesk’s Building Connected system to manage the procurement process for the project. Completing the Expression of Interest form will add the firm to the interested bidder list in Building Connected and ensure that they will receive future notifications regarding the bidding process for that scope.

Bidding process summary:

Bidding in Building Connected

ITBs posted in Building Connected will include all the information required to bid.  Potential bidders should review the scope of work, any plans provided, specifications, contract information, quantities, and the schedule. Once an ITB is posted in Building Connected, any questions regarding the scope of work should be submitted through Building Connected within 10 days of the ITB posting; responses to questions will be posted within 5 days of that deadline.

Every bid will have unique requirements in terms of format and response content. Bidders should carefully review all requirements and be sure to respond fully.
